These systems make the life of the dentist and patient easier and increase the quality of life of people.

In classical dental restorations, a metal substructure was used under the porcelain tooth for durability in porcelain applications. Since the disadvantages of this metal substructure in terms of gums, dental tissue, general body health and most importantly aesthetics are known, an alternative to metal has been sought in general. A new era started with the application of zirconium, which was used successfully in other fields of medicine, instead of porcelain metal in dentistry.
Because these new zirconium-based porcelain coatings stand out from other dental materials with their mechanical resistance, biological compatibility and fracture resistance. They do not cause gum problems and allergies, and they provide aesthetics and function close to natural teeth with their light transmission feature.

How is the compatibility of zirconium teeth with my gums?

It is a material compatible with the tissue. The purplish discoloration of the gums in the neck of the tooth, which is seen in metal-supported prostheses, never occurs. It does not cause gum recession. If the gums are receded due to improper brushing, it will not create a bad appearance.

Can it be applied to those who are allergic to metal?

Zirconium coatings do not cause metal allergy since they do not contain metal.

Does it cause a change in taste and odor in my mouth?

Since it does not contain metal, it does not cause any taste change or odor.

Will zirconium teeth change color in the future?

It does not cause plaque accumulation due to its smooth and slippery porcelain surface. For this reason, it is not affected by colorants such as coffee, tea and cigarette. Its color remains constant.

How can I maintain zirconium crowns?
Teeth are brushed like normal toothbrushes. Superfloss is used for floss and toothless areas. How long can I use proble zirconium coatings that may already occur when the physician visits are regularly visited every 6 months?

How are zirconium crowns applied?

The teeth are reduced a little as in metal-supported coatings, and when the gums are healthy, a precise measurement is taken with special impression materials and spoons suitable for the mouth. In the laboratory environment, the zirconium substructure in the color suitable for the tooth and the porcelain superstructure on it are processed and harmonized with the tooth in the clinical environment. Finally, it is permanently adapted to the tooth with special adhesives. You can now use it easily without distinguishing it from your own teeth.

How much material will my teeth lose during the procedure?

Substance loss is more than porcelain laminates. It is the same with metal-backed porcelain coatings. Precautions are taken by predicting a 1-2 mm from your normal tooth surface.
