Estetik Dolgular

Porcelain inlay-onlay can be applied instead of composite or amalgam filling in teeth that require large fillings, as it is both aesthetic and durable.
Inlay-onlay fillings are preferred as they require less material loss in the tooth than porcelain crowns during the construction phase. Only the decay is cleaned and the tooth is measured.

Porcelain inlay fillings prepared in the laboratory are then bonded to the teeth with special adhesives (adhesive systems).

Especially for teeth with large material loss, root canal treatment is applied first and if necessary, simple surgical corrections (gingivoplasty – gingival manicure) are made on the gums and onlay (porcelain or composite filling prepared in the laboratory) is made. In this way, the risk of breaking the tooth or filling is very low.

IPS porcelain (Leucite reinforced pressable porcelain) fillings:
They are tissue-friendly fillers, one of the materials with the highest biological compatibility. They are produced with advanced technology. In the porcelain filling method, the healthy dental tissue in the mouth is not damaged. With a few changes made on the dental cavity opened in the normal filling, the tooth is made ready for porcelain filling. In addition, these porcelains are the closest to the hardness of the tooth and the most compatible with the gum. Since its hardness is very close to the enamel tissue of the tooth, it does not erode teeth like other porcelains and does not wear out like composite fillings. Especially in large material losses, it should be preferred instead of composite filling or crown (coating).

Root Canal Treatment (ENDODONTICS)

Root canal treatment is the last chance to treat a tooth whose pulp is damaged and to save your tooth. There is no alternative to root canal treatment. It is a treatment method applied to save your tooth from pulling.

It is a treatment method applied in cases where the pulp in the inner part of the tooth is damaged or necrosis due to reasons such as caries or trauma.

First of all, an appropriate local anesthesia is required for a painless procedure. After complete numbness is achieved, the pulp inside the tooth is removed, the canals inside the tooth roots are shaped and free of microorganisms, and then the expanded channels are filled. According to the loss of material in the upper part of the outer part, restorations are made with the filling approved by your dentist and the aesthetic and functional continuity of the tooth is ensured.

HOW LONG DOES A DENTAL TREATED DENTAL LIFE

After a successful root canal treatment, it is possible for your tooth to remain in the mouth for life. A tooth with root canal treatment may become more fragile as it loses moisture. In some cases, coating or filling may be preferred instead of filling after the root canal treatment to prevent fractures.

WHAT HAPPENS IF CHANNEL TREATMENT IS NOT MADE?

In cases where the pulp cannot heal itself due to deep caries and cracks, the tooth loses its vitality and the infection can spread to the whole tooth. If root canal treatment is not applied, the infection can reach the tissues at the root tip. The jawbone surrounding the female is also inflamed and eroded. Abscess occurs in this space. This picture is accompanied by pain and swelling and the tooth is lost in a short time.

Things to pay attention

* Being careful when biting in large fillings will extend the life of the filling.
* Although composite fillings are polished well, color change may occur over time depending on food and beverages.
* As with amalgam, there is no restriction of not eating for 2 hours after the filling is made.
* For teeth restored due to abrasion, hard toothbrush should not be used and brushing method should be considered.
